Green Chick Jump is an enjoyable arcade platform game. You control a green chick that is continually hopping over platforms and obstacles. The spaces and platform positions are continually moving, so you have to be careful with your jumps.
The gameplay is easy, but the speed and challenge increase as you go. One bad jump and the chicken falls and begins again.
The pleasure of Green Chick Jump is to time your jumps from one platform to the next. There are places where you can make quick jumps to clear them, but there are also times when you must wait for the right moment to attempt your next jump.
Observe the location of the platform in front, and move accordingly. And take your time. Too big a jump or too small a jump can shorten your journey.
Your mission is to assist the green chicken to cross as many platforms as possible without falling down. This bit you just do while playing. Keep changing direction of your jump, estimate distance and locate a secure landing.
You may find objects and awards on your path, and you can pick them up if you can. But first, keep your chicken secure, rather than reaching for things that are difficult to get to.
Distance before jumping: Look at the next platform and see which direction is right.
Don't move too aggressively. A minor adjustment will enable the chicken to land easier.
Choose a safe platform. You don’t have to pick the tallest platform if it’s hard to get there.
Look ahead: Plan your next leap path.
Control the rhythm: Try to be calm when you move forward instead of jumping nonstop.
Practise the hardest parts: In Green Chick Jump, you need to memorise the locations of the platforms after each playthrough to be able to make more progress.
